About the Position
The AFM Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment in the Aseptic Filling and Down Stream Equipment areas. As a skilled technical professional, this individual will execute work orders, tasks, trouble calls, and projects as directed by the AFM Team Leader, while maintaining a safe and secure work environment that operates in compliance with SOPs and GMPs.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute work orders, tasks, trouble calls, and projects as directed by the AFM Team Leader
• Perform electronic, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, machine conversion and precision set-up related activities
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve problems effectively
• Ensure all work has been tested and is ready for production when required
• Understand current daily business objectives and complete documentation as required
• Participate in information transfer at shift meetings and support team members as needed
Requirements
• High school diploma with at least 5-7 years of maintenance experience in food processing and/or high-speed filling, aseptic experience a plus
• Computerized Service Maintenance Management Software (CSMM) knowledge in an Industrial application
• Training in electrical, electronics, and mechanical maintenance repair
• Extensive working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical mechanisms
• Experience with servo-motor driven systems, AC & DC electricity and/or drives, machine changeover/conversion and precision machine set-up
• Analog and digital circuitry, PLC programming and troubleshooting of programs
