Job description

Anyone with experience working on a production line with large steel components please get in touch! ie. automotive industry. Extrusion and overhead crane experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Transferrable experience with large stell components is a key thing that we are looking for.

Title: Production Operative (Steel Pipes)

Pay Rate: £18.02 Per Hour (blanket rate for all hours) Overtime available

Contract: Full Time (Initial contract probation with a high chance of a permanent role)

Shift Pattern: Continental (7am-7pm Dayshift, 7pm-7am Nightshift - 3 week rotation)

Sector: Oil & Gas

Role Summary

To work on shift within manufacturing operational environment which specialises in assembling and testing flexible oil pipes.

Key Activities

To Ensure any tooling/equipment used on shop floor is returned to required location once finished with

To carry out duties in-line with required company 5S standards (visual display/tidiness)

To carry any duties requested by on shift supervisor/ lead operator to support assembly and testing operations

To carry out duties in-line with HSE regulations

To follow SOIs and Risk Assessments

Essential Responsibilities

Follow HSE regulations whilst on-site

Ensure all tooling is returned to dedicated storage locations when finished on operations

Completed any requests from stores/warehouse for items when required and deliver to shop floor
