About the Role

We're looking for a Production Operator to join the team at our Camellia site to help maintain our high standard of production and quality in the manufacturing of yeast. The role will function on a two-week rotating roster with shift timings including Day Shift (6am-2pm), Afternoon Shift (2pm - 10pm) and Night Shift (10pm - 6am). The Afternoon and Night Shift include extra pay loading.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment

Preparing raw materials for production runs

Monitoring and maintaining yeast quality through adherence to specifications, cleaning and sanitization procedures

Maintaining production, quality and safety records

Working in a team environment to ensure products are manufactured to meet customer needs, production targets and deadlines

Troubleshooting and resolving production issues

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be required to possess:

Previous experience as a Production Operator in a food manufacturing environment

Highly attention to detail and commitment to quality control

Solid literacy and numeracy skills - able to complete production documentation (basic calculation skills)

High level of physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and ability to lift 25kgs

Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain

Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern including night shifts, Monday - Friday, with the opportunity for occasional weekend work
