PRODUCTION PLANNING MANAGER Job Title:
• Production Planning Manager Qualification:
• Bachelor or Master ‘s Degree in Production Operations/B. Tech/M. Tech [Mechanical] or other relevant discipline. Skill Sets Required: •
Ability to plan daily/weekly/monthly /quarterly production planning [Target vs.Achievement].
• Technical writing skills & good communicator
. • Proficient Computer skills & understanding of ERP systems
. • Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
. • Demonstrate personal time punctuality & management skills.
• Can take initiatives to perform additional duties in absence of colleagues [at lower level or higher level]
. • Must have an attitude of Problem solver. Experience: • Should have 8-15 years of relevant experience Job Role:
• Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet management expectations. • Analyze and prepare documents needed for production [Complete Job Card]
. • Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand. Must ensure Full Kitting before proceeding for production on the work floor. • Creates & maintains production schedules and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization. [As per Format]
• Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation as per production flow chart & production monitoring sheet
. • Complete status reports for production progress, work in process and raw material inventory.
• Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and Accounting
. • Must ensure manpower, material & machine planning in an optimum way and send a summarized data sheet to top management for the planned vs. achieved.
• Prepare and share bottleneck analysis to improve the production. Also, ensure that the minimum production capacity/benchmark should be met. [As per Format]
• Preventive Maintenance planning of Plant & Machinery.
• May be asked to perform additional duties at a lower level or higher level in absence of colleagues.
• Manage • Set the example by actively contributing to department and company goals.
• Build quality into work. Ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives. Be aware of current quality levels versus target levels. • Make suggestions for improvement in i31Jea&ost reduction, processes, quality and productivity. • On time MIS reports. • Attend/meet the top management beyond the factory hours, if needed. Others • Male Candidate. • Married, preferable. • Staying max. 45 mnts-1 hr travelling time from factory [KALCO ].
