Full Job Description
· Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
· Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
· Check production output according to specifications.
· Submit reports on the work progress of workers.
· Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
· Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
· Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
· Coordination to solve any regulatory issues.
· Supervises coordinates activities of workers engaged in the production of refractory products, like slabs, and posts.
· Trains and observes workers for making sure job performance meets standards that safety procedures are followed.
· Maintains a record of ingredients used in preparing finishing mixture requisitions ingredients as needed.
· May assist workers in setting up, operating, and repairing machinery equipment in the department.
· Performs other duties as described under Supervisor any industry Master Title.
· Attends any pre-production meetings and/or interacts with customers directly as necessary.
· Ensures high-quality standards in all production deliverables.
· Ensures team is adhering to safety rules.
· Leads continuous improvement activities and reports out during the daily meeting.
· Creates strong and effective internal partnerships to ensure client needs are met and projects stay within scope, budget, timeline, quality, and other Key Performance Indicators.
· Proactively leads the development of improved production processes and achieves financial targets.
· Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
· Follows up with direct reports to ensure jobs are on target for established hours and deadlines and adheres to company policies and procedures.
· Develops work instructions and maintains training matrix.
· Plans directs and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.
