Seeking a collaborative, mechanically minded Engineer to join the team as a Production Supervisor! Our client manufactures a fully automated insulin delivery system that was recently FDA approved and funded for commercial growth!
• Location: Irvine, CA (onsite)
• Pay range: 75k-+5k
• Duration: Full time Permanent
• Production hours: Second Shift Mon-Thurs 3:30pm-2:00am. Training on 1st Shift: Mon - Thurs 5:00 am – 3:30pm)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• The Production Supervisor will oversee, and schedule work associated with production assembly and packaging.
• They will also support inventory management, manufacturing reporting, shipping, and receiving on an as needed basis.
• The critical attributes and skills required for this position include determination and communication of priorities, knowledge of assembly hands-on problem-solving skills, ability to meet schedules, attention to details and quality, initiative, and the ability to work well within a team.
• The Supervisor will also be responsible for providing routine reporting on production and inventory status.
Minimum certifications/educational level:
• Bachelor’s degree, technical field preferred or combination of education and applicable work experience.
• 5+ years related industry experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of operations and inventory controls.
• Demonstrated commitment and experience in continuous improvement.
• Strong team collaboration and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Management experience in a medical device environment or regulated industry preferred.
• Experience in Medical Device, or Consumer Electronics preferred.
• Experience in FDA/GMP/ISO environment preferred.
