Production Support Analyst
Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing operational support for enterprise applications and database systems. This role oversees the daily requirements for support of the systems leveraged by Business Operations teams to provide support for critical production processes working with engineering and operations teams to identify and fulfill support requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform incident and problem management activities, including working closely with technology and business stakeholders to provide innovative and tactical solutions to issues as well as improving the performance of applications and processes; this will include managing major incidents, performing post incident reviews, and coordinating with our various 3rd party vendors.
• Plan execution timelines/activities of various major releases and critical changes into Production and DR environments in collaboration with our development and technology support teams.
• Independently identify repetitive or time-consuming processes that can be automated, especially where they benefit multiple business areas, and deliver a sustainable solution that can be leveraged for other areas as needed.
• Creation of required knowledge base documentation required to support applications, including appropriate sign-off where required
• Coordination of various support activities across teams, including handover of issues, knowledge sharing, training, and collaboration on strategic projects
• Contribute to building Knowledge base and overall good health of the application
• Follows and supports IT business processes including change management, configuration management, and disaster recovery and business continuity.
Requirement:-
• An IT Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in an information technology environment, application maintenance support, exposure on production support
• Good to have experience with Banking product environment.
• Database Experience with MSSQL environment.
• Proficient in SQL Server, SQL Functions Jobs, and Windows technologies
• Demonstrable excellent troubleshooting and Communication, interpersonal skills
• Works with a sense of urgency
• Team player with strong desire to assist and share knowledge
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong desire to learn new technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
