Basic Function

• To ensure per shift operation complies with HSE regulations & rules and support in achieving Goal Zero target

• To ensure smooth extruder line operations along with maintaining production lines up to date.

• To ensure the products meet the customers' demand on Quality, Quantity and Delivery by managing & controlling the production process.

• To ensure the plant in a high safety standard and tidy by promoting the awareness to every employee with a cooperation from others department.

• Maintain his and department KPI’s month on month basis.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Follow HSE regulation in daily shift operation, achieve Goal Zero target

• Follow and maintain safe work permits systems implemented at site

• Carry out production activities as per Production Planning and Delivery Schedule [PPDS]

• Follow and maintain line processing condition with Standard Operating Procedure [SOP]

• Adhere to process parameters to produce defect free product

• Supporting in reduction of production scrap generation

• Upkeep and maintenance of production main and downstream equipment

• Finished Goods handling with proper packaging and labelling

• Filling out of formats, report, documentations to fullfil ISO documentation requirement

• Maintain Housekeeping and 5S

• Supporting other site functions like Maint. QA, Logistics

Min. Qualifications

Diploma in Plastics Technology in Plastics Processing and Testing.

Experience And Skills Required

• The position requires minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the plastics industry preferably in color masterbatch and compounding industry. Knowledge to extruder operations and trouble shooting. Must be aware of color corrections and adjustments.

• Hands on raw material feeder operations and corrections.

• Plastics Processing and testing

• Automation in MB

• Loss in weight Feeder (K-tron / Brabender) Operation

• Under water / strand palletization

• High Speed Mixers

• Basic Process Automation and understanding

• Utility knowledge along with DCS operations
