Job Description
We are currently looking for a reliable, hard-working production worker to become a part of our manufacturing team. You will need to be able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive, and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. You must be able to work with Western Red Cedar.
DAY (5 days)
Mon - Fri
6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Responsibilities may include:
feed/tale raw material in/out of machinery
processing cedar for components
enter work orders into computer system
efficiently assemble components
asses for quality
follow production specifications/instructions
pack products for shipping
using/maintaining tools and equipment correctly
maintain a clean, safe work area
reporting unsafe act/conditions
able to work overtime as needed
Qualifications and Skills
strong work ethic
able to follow instructions
reliable and punctual
consistent speed and accuracy
have safety aptitude
physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending and reaching
able to be on feet for entire shift
capable of learning a variety of tasks
capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety information
good communication skills
basic computer skills
motivated, self starter
experience with chop saw, table saw and power tools an asset
