About the role:
We are currently seeking a few strong men to work as Production Operators to join our team at our new tannery located in Laverton North 3026, working day shifts Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. We have plenty of work available due to growing demands.
As a Production Operator, you will be required to complete various manufacturing processes associated tanning raw hides into premium leather hides.
Training will be provided on the job, so no prior experience is necessary but you must be physically fit.
Skills and Experience
Demonstrate attention to detail
Must be reliable and trustworthy by nature
Be a self-starter and motivator
Basic production worker experience desirable but not essential
Be aware of safe WH&S practice
This role involves lifting of hides and physical movements, so would be suited to someone who is physically fit with reasonable strength.
A forklift license will be ideal but not essential, and any experience in hide tanning will be advantageous.
