We are seeking a skilled and experienced Professional Support and Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and managing Qlik dashboards, managing Qlik applications (including upgrades and administration), and working with NPrinting. This role involves both development and administration responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our Qlik environment and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain Qlik dashboards and applications to meet business requirements

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their analytical needs

· Perform data analysis and create data models to support dashboard development

· Optimize and enhance existing Qlik dashboards for improved performance and usability

· Manage the Qlik application, including performing upgrades, patches, and overall administration

· Monitor and maintain the health of the Qlik environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability

· Develop and maintain NPrinting reports and distributions, including setting up and managing report schedules and templates

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Qlik applications, dashboards, NPrinting, and the overall Qlik environment

· Provide training and support to end-users on Qlik tools, dashboards, and NPrinting.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Qlik technologies and best practices

· Provide top notice support processes and configuration control

· Demonstrated experience with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

· Work successfully in a strong team environment

· On call roughly a week per month

· Meet customers on site

Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with QlikView and/or Qlik Sense.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience with Qlik NPrinting.

· Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling.

· Experience with ETL processes and data integration.

· Proficiency in scripting, data source integration, and advanced data visualization techniques.

· Experience in Qlik administration, including upgrades, patches, and performance monitoring.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Qlik certifications (e.g., Qlik Sense Data Architect, QlikView Developer) are a plus.

· Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 7/8/10 and Windows Server 2008/2012/2016

· Knowledge of SQL i.e. Queries, SQL Jobs(ETLs), Stored procedures, functions.

· Advanced English required for verbal and written communication

· Ability to travel to customer sites.

· Ability to work off business hours to address critical matters/situations.

· Work effectively in a 100% remote situation

· Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. (preferred)

· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (preferred)

· Experience with server installation and configuration (preferred)

· Proficiency in troubleshooting server and application issues (preferred)

· Knowledge of SSL certificates and their management (preferred)

· Ability to read and interpret server logs for diagnostics and troubleshooting (preferred)
