Job Title: Professor of Architecture and Planning
We are seeking a visionary academic leader to join our faculty as a Professor in the School of Architecture and Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Architecture, Urban Planning, Design Thinking, and allied disciplines with an emphasis on global standards and sustainability.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and design studios.
• Conduct high-impact research and contribute to scholarly publications in leading international journals.
• Drive innovation in curriculum and pedagogy by incorporating digital tools, global case studies, and cross-cultural perspectives.
• Foster international collaborations, industry partnerships, and global student/faculty exchange programs.
• Mentor junior faculty and contribute to institutional development initiatives.
• Participate in academic administration, committee work, and accreditation processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Architecture, Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of academic and/or professional experience, with at least 3 years at a senior faculty level.
• Proven international exposure through teaching, research, consultancy, or institutional affiliations.
• Strong academic portfolio with peer-reviewed publications, exhibitions, or built works of global relevance.
• Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes (e.g., NAAB, RIBA, COA).
• Familiarity with tools such as BIM, GIS, parametric design, and sustainable design practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• International teaching experience in reputed universities or architecture schools.
• Membership in international professional bodies (e.g., AIA, RIBA, ISOCARP).
• Record of securing research grants and leading funded projects.
• Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement.
