About the Organization
National Insurance VimoSEWA Cooperative Ltd. is a multi-state cooperative promoted by SEWA that aims to provide financial protection to informal sector women workers and their families. It is a standalone, multi-product and full-service delivery insurance entity
About the Role
The position will be based out of the head-office at Ahmedabad.
This position offers an opportunity to explore various domains within the organization. The appointed person will be directly engaged in supporting senior program management team, in managing programs, research proposal writing/ documentation and communications. The candidate may have to communicate with multiple stakeholders. The candidate is expected to have understanding of social media handles and content creation. The role encompasses working on canva for content development for VimoSEWA’s various social media handles. Skills in digital marketing and communication is desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Support the team lead in managing project designated.
· Support the team lead in conducting research and documentation.
· Support the team lead in communication management.
· Support the team lead to increase the outreach of the organization and support in facilitating and maintaining existing partnerships with stakeholders.
· Support in establishing knowledge management including project reports, preparation of grant and project proposals.
· To support in strengthening of the monitoring and evaluation system for the on-going projects, new projects and interventions. To work on VimoSewa’s mobile application for the project/team assigned.
· Any other task assigned by the CEO.
Professional Qualifications/expectations
· Mandatory: She/He should hold Master’s degree or post graduate diploma in Business Management/Mass Communications / Digital Marketing //, Development Management/ Rural Management with at least 1 to 2 years of experience in development sector.
· She/He should be agile, resilient and passionate to contribute in the development sector.
Additional Information
The position is based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat but would include travel to other locations as decided by the senior management.
Duration of the Work
The contract will be for one year initially. (subject to renewable on performance)
Compensation (Consolidated)
As per the industry standards.
