We have an immediate need for a Program Cost Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will lead the month end close process, maintain the general ledger including account analysis and preparation of monthly working papers. The Program Cost Analyst will research, analyze and develop cost models. Primary Responsibilities:

Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture

Perform daily financial activities, including:

Research amd analyze historical data

Develop cost models to perform cost variance analysis for labour, material and other program costs

Support ELCAN Finance compliance with Raytheon policies

Support Controller in achieving Finance department objectives, on-time and within budget

Support site audits, both internal and external

Support monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting

Support forecast, AOP & 5YP creation

Able to work with tight deadlines, setbacks and changes in policies

Assist in monitoring costs; ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct end goal

Supporting the development and implementation of improved processes

Assist in generating program financial artifacts such as CPI reports, graphs, and analysis, as required

Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to financial reporting

Work safely and in accordance with all applicable acts, regulations, legislation, and codes to ensure personal and public safety

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3 year Degree in Accounting or Business

Working towards completion of CPA designation an asset

Must have working knowledge of computerized financial ERP applications; experience in manufacturing environment is an asset.

Must have experience in Financial Analysis or Business Accounting with advanced skills in MS EXCEL specifically with Pivot tables and VLOOK Up. Experience with Microsoft Power BI is an asset.

Experienced with working with large amounts of data and performing financial analysis.

Must have experience working with various levels of an organization and comfortable working in a role that is new with changing daily or weekly requirements.

Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program.
