• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in program management, legal or business operations, or a technical implementation role.
• Experience with AI and automation.
• Experience with navigating Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and contract lifecycles.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with SQL, Apps Script, or data scripting.
• Experience in building with AI, with an ability to deconstruct manual operations and translate them into automated, technical requirements.
• Experience in identifying and analyzing data to respond to various types of needs.
• Experience with managing operational prioritizing within a changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and global geographic regions to drive alignment and outcomes.
• Ability to ensure work products are completed.

About the jobStrategic Global Legal Operations (StratGLO) is a central team within the Office of the General Counsel focused on scaling and strengthening Legal's operational foundation and serving central expertise into the contracting ecosystem. We manage the day-to-day operations of many global processes.

In this role, you will drive initiatives that redefine how Legal operates. You will identify friction points and design AI-integrated solutions. You will redesign core processes using Google’s internal AI suite to drive efficiency, optimizing the global spend and resource allocation. You will ensure that all operational enhancements are integrated into the team's framework. You will be responsible for managing other priority workstreams within the team's remit including adapting to evolving organizational needs and ensuring that all operational projects align with the goals of the Office of the General Counsel.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$159,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end transformation of legal workflows by applying Google’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to automate discrete tasks, and architect the platform and data frameworks required to execute global, automated AI-powered solutions.
• Leverage advanced analytics and AI-enabled insights to pinpoint efficiencies, revolutionize support models, and achieve goals for lowering spend.
• Partner with Legal teams, Global Affairs Solutions Enablement, and Corporate Engineering to advocate Legal’s needs and deploy integrated features and operational solutions.
• Document process transformations and drive change management.
• Manage legal operations workstreams beyond AI, ensuring alignment with evolving organizational priorities and departmental needs.
