ASC is Australia’s submarine company. About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to shape onboarding for one of Australia’s most significant defence programs. Based in South Australia, you will lead the design and delivery of onboarding for the AUKUS submarine build, influencing how employees experience the program from the moment they join. This is a growing and evolving space where your work will have visible, lasting impact for employees.
Responsibilities
Maintain and continually review and improve the onboarding framework for the AUKUS build program
Design, facilitate and deliver engaging and compliant induction programs for new starters.
Partner closely with People and Culture, program leaders, and joint venture stakeholders to further develop the onboarding framework for the Integrated Joint Venture
Ensure onboarding processes scale with workforce growth and program maturity
Balance regulatory requirements with a positive, human-centred employee experience
Gather feedback and continuously improve onboarding effectiveness
Act as a trusted advisor on onboarding best practice
About you
Experience designing and improving onboarding, employee experience, or wider HR initiatives and processes within new or evolving programs
Strong understanding of employee experience design in complex, high-growth environments
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills including influencing and constructive challenge
Highly organised, detail-focused, adaptable and able to maintain momentum in a highly uncertain environment
Advanced presentation and PowerPoint skills, translating complex information clearly
Creative, practical communicator who builds trust and improves engagement
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
