The University of Sydney is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Program / Project Officer (I dentified ) to join the University Schools Indigenous Professional Program. Working under general supervision and with the guidance of a mentor, the graduate trainee will provide administrative services to support projects, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders across three University of Sydney schools. The Project and Event Support Officer will be enrolled in a tailored training program to ensure that they have the relevant skills to be successful in the role.

Indigenous knowledge and music are a central part of the Conservatorium’s teaching and learning.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Assist with project tasks and project documentation
Help with financial report preparation
Support and maintain project data using the record management system
Maintain transparent communication strategies with stakeholders
Build positive relationships with project stakeholders
About you
Possess strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to work independently or as part of a team and are proactive in taking initiative when faced with challenges
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and maintain a positive attitude with a client-focused approach
