What you'll do

The Programmatic Optimization Analyst is a key position that helps drive revenue and adoption of DV Services by our programmatic partners. A multi-faceted role, the ideal candidate will embrace working in a fast-paced environment and thrive at thinking analytically about ways to increase the quality of impressions and ROI by using the DV suite of services in the most optimal way. Understanding of the digital marketplace, technical aptitude and strong analytical skills are essential for this role. We are looking for a data-driven, analytically minded individual to produce and present engaging campaign analysis for clients in order to show how DV data and products can increase campaign performance. In addition, the analyst will interface with sales, account management and product teams to improve the existing reporting, process and products in order to provide the most meaningful outcomes for clients.


Generate and present optimization recommendations to maximize delivery of advertiser campaigns and highlight ROI for programmatic partners.
Identify and quantify key challenges for campaign performance.
Serve as main point of contact for programmatic support initiatives in local markets by providing onboarding, ongoing support, and internal maintenance for clients.
Provide support and guidance to our internal sales and account management teams, with clear and timely communication, quality deliverables, and innovative solutions.
Identify patterns and proactively surface ideas to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
Provide additional coverage for our global programmatic support team.
Collaboration with local market support roles within the 'Commercial COE' to identify areas for efficiency across teams.
This is a Hybrid position with 3 Days in the Sydney Office per week and 2 WFH Days.
There may be travel to support clients in other cities as needed.

Who you are

3-5+ years of industry experience
1+ years of prior experience in the Programmatic ecosystem.
Knowledge of how to set up and optimize Programmatic media to drive improvement in campaign performance.
Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
Excellent presentation skills (client facing experience preferred)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker) beneficial
Possess expert problem solving and decision-making skills
Robust knowledge of the overall ad tech landscape (DSP landscape especially beneficial)
High level of proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, complex functions) and able to interpret and present data in an actionable way
Experience with the Australia Media Agency landscape would be beneficial
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
