Project Accountant
Ready to continue your finance career in construction?
You’ll be part of an accounting team of five, in a business that has a big growth plan for the next 3-5 years
You’ll work with an experienced Accounting Manager and Controller who will provide mentorship and help develop your career by teaching you new skills and giving you additional responsibility
Your role will include:
Coordinating with Construction Project Managers on change orders
Being assigned to projects you will take ownership of until completion
Obtaining insurance certificates from subcontractors
Recording and managing purchase orders
The company works on commercial construction projects throughout Manhattan. Projects include corporate interiors, hospitality, lobby renovations, MEP upgrades, amenity spaces, rooftops. Typical projects are $2m-10m and will include larger complex interior and renovation projects up to $100m.
About you:
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as Project Accountant or similar role within a GC/CM, or subcontractor
Experience with AIA Billings and lien waivers
Proficiency in Sage 100
