About the role
Support the Project Lead in delivering the RACGP–NACCHO Partnership by coordinating workshops, managing project admin, and tracking milestones. Prepare agendas, minutes, and communications, maintain planning documents, and liaise with internal teams and key stakeholders including NACCHO and health partners.

This role works directly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members or teams.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

As our Project Administration Assistant, you'll also:
Coordinate national workshops, including travel, logistics, catering, and on-the-day operational support
Provide secretariat support to committees and working groups, ensuring smooth governance processes
Monitor project budgets, process invoices, and track financials against allocated funding
Support dissemination of resources and maintain stakeholder engagement across national health partners
Build and maintain respectful relationships with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, organisations and partners
Ensure culturally safe communication and engagement practices.
Ensure communication and project delivery reflect cultural safety and community priorities

Skills and experience

Strong admin and coordination in complex projects
Excellent writing: agendas, minutes, comms
Confident stakeholder engagement skills, particularly
Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities
Understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultures and the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, especially within healthcare.
