Position Overview
Dee-Jay is a growing, forward-thinking company and we continue to adapt our services to best serve our customers. We are currently seeking an individual to join our project & accounting teams based out of our office and shop located in Camrose, Alberta. Roles and Responsibilities
Process project related accounting and adminstrative tasks as they relate to procurement, cost tracking & billing as well as change management.
Provide support in managing the technical, regulatory and contractual requirements of projects
Provide reception and administrative support to management, project, estimating and field teams
Communicate effectively with internal company personnel as well as clients, subcontractors and suppliers outside of the Dee-Jay organization
Understand company policies, procedures and reporting practices as well as maintaining accurate records and files
Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
Requirements for the position include but are not limited to:
Proven experience in an administrative role
Strong problem solving skills and a high attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong team player with the ability to effectively adjust to shifting priorities and demands and meet deadlines
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Experience with Sage Contractor, Sage Paperless and/or Procore would be considered an asset
Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills
