The Role
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at ETAP DMCC.
Responsibilities:
Perform site commissioning, site acceptance testing, and prepare site reports.
Conduct communication point-to-point testing with multiple electrical equipment on standard protocols.
Test and demonstrate SCADA, DMS, and ADMS applications.
Requirements:
Graduate degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Renewable Solar SCADA and Oil & Gas.
Expertise in solar power plant design, programming, and knowledge of power plant controllers and inverters.
Sound knowledge of communication protocols (MODBUS, PROFIBUS, DEVICENET, DNP-3, IEC-60870-5-101/103/104, OPC, Kepware, and IEC-61850).
Key Skills:
Power system protection scheme and wide area monitoring in real-time systems.
Schedule and report preparation, alignment with site engineer teams.
Automation and electrical protection systems expertise.
Renewable SCADA solar performance monitoring system knowledge.
RDTS testing with close-loop control systems in OPAL RT or other systems.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
