Job Description
Plans and organises residential construction, renovation, and alteration projects, ensuring project objectives, scope, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
Reviews and interprets building plans, specifications, and project documentation to determine suitable construction methods, sequencing, and resource requirements.
Prepares and evaluates cost estimates and quotations for building projects, and negotiates with clients, developers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
Schedule, direct, coordinate subcontractors, materials, labour, and equipment to maintain workflow continuity and ensure that project standards, timelines, quality, cost, safety and building legislation requirements are met.
Controls project performance by monitoring progress of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that project standards, schedules, and specifications are met.
Coordinates and prioritises labour or subcontractors, materials, suppliers, and equipment to ensure efficient project workflow and continuity of work.
Implements and manages Work Health and Safety (WHS) processes, conducts hazard identification and risk assessments, and ensures safe work practices are adhered to on-site.
Identifies and addresses construction-related issues by coordinating with relevant parties to maintain project quality, safety, and timelines.
Maintains project documentation, reporting on progress, costs, variations, delivery schedules, and completion milestones to clients and management.
To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate:
Minimum Level 6 Diploma or higher qualification in Construction specializing in quantity surveying or construction management or building Relevant Work Experience (3-5 Years)

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in construction environments.
