OpportunityAs a Project Management Specialist in the Design Studios team, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues, requesters, and internal departments, supporting the higher-level project managers in managing incoming requests. Operational tasks will include managing internal and external resources, monitoring deadlines and iterations, organizing printers, setting up Trello boards and Slack channels, and checking invoices. Your role also involves negotiating and monitoring deadlines, carrying out administrative tasks in close coordination with the Operations Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess all incoming project requests and appropriately schedule and coordinate incoming projectsAssign projects to designers based on skill sets, timing and workloadHost creative briefs that capture the business challengeVet project scope, scale, resource requirementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with Visual Services Department ManagersAssertively negotiate deadlines escalating to Visual Services Department Managers when appropriateLook for and define project, timing, request trends within Visual Services teamCommunicate effectively and consistently with stakeholders on project developmentStay on top of industry trends and forecast, bringing innovate experiencesMaintain Visual Services project management tools, pulling data and providing detailed reportsEstablish workflow consistency and workload balance across Visual ServicesParticipate in client calls and meetingsPerforming other duties as assigned or requiredKey CompetenciesBachelor's Degree/Diploma in graphics design, project management, marketing, or related field preferred4+ years of experience in a Professional services environment/ Design start-ups/ Design Agencies.Strong project management skills and experience with relevant tools and methodologiesExcellent knowledge of print, digital, video, presentations, etc.Deep knowledge of graphic design and design studio workflow processesAdvanced workflow management skillsSignificant creative brief experience
