Job Description
Collaborating with users and stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for pre-installation procedures and product applications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Developing and maintaining project plans, test cases, and specifications, while providing progress updates to senior management, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders to address challenges, align with business processes and system requirements, and ensure project objectives are achieved.
Defining and executing test plans to validate system functionality and performance, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintaining system integrity.
Identifying, investigating, and analysing technical issues during pre-installation, evaluating root causes, and implementing effective solutions to resolve inefficiencies.
Driving process improvements by identifying and evaluating inefficiencies in pre-installation workflows, recommending optimal business practices, and incorporating feedback to enhance system functionality.
Coordinating contractors and internal resources to complete pre-installation tasks efficiently, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and adherence to project specifications.
Leveraging expertise in SKIDATA solutions and associated technologies to provide insights and recommendations, acting as a central reference and information source to improve operational effectiveness.
Able to work as part of a team, to fault find issues, utilising manuals, and material at hand, or escalate where necessary to find a resolution to an issue.
Provide updates & information for assigned tasks, upon request from the Senior Project management team..
Plays a role in defining test cases for specific use-cases together with Projects team
Execution / Population of pre-prepared templated Test Plans, ensuring a high quality of input is added where requested.
Work closely with Logistics Team and Commercial Manager to prioritise pre-installation activities based on business needs and review priorities regularly
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and industry standards throughout the pre-installation process.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong technical aptitude in Hardware and Software solutions is required
Formal qualifications in Engineering or IT would be well regarded
Any experience with building hardware and configuration of software (Standard or non-standard with the support of software manuals) is preferred, but not mandatory, as will learn in the role.
Hand on skills in tools and maintenance of computer hardware preferred.
Training will be provided on the job for relevant products and solutions.
A candidate with an understanding or good exposure to hardware and software solutions would be well suited for this role.
Ability to execute and populate test documentation such as build checklists & test plans.
Prepared & motivated to gain/learn a good understanding of the capabilities of SKIDATA hardware & software products & offerings.
Basic knowledge with the MS Office suite of software, including Teams, & Excel.
Ability to work on a pre-determined schedule with good time management skills.
An office based position in Melbourne with occasional travel to sites
