Role Summary
We are seeking a Cost Controller with a sharp analytical mindset and strong understanding of foreign exchange (forex) calculations, cost estimation, and dynamic pricing strategies. This role will be responsible for preparing competitive quotations, managing cost sheets, and coordinating the placement of purchase orders (POs) for both domestic and international suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate costing for client quotations based on technical specs, supplier prices, freight, duties, and forex.
Monitor and incorporate daily forex rate fluctuations into cost models and quotations.
Collaborate with Sales and Procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with the accounts and operations teams.
Work with overseas partners to finalize landed cost calculations.
Analyze historical pricing trends and recommend margin improvement strategies.
Liaise with banks for LC terms, remittances, and forex conversions.
Maintain cost databases, vendor quotations, and PO records for audit and tracking.
Ensure compliance with import/export pricing structures, taxes, and regulatory norms.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Engineering. MBA/PG in Finance is preferred.
4–6 years of experience in costing, pricing, or commercial operations – preferably in engineering or capital equipment sectors.
Solid understanding of foreign exchange markets, conversion calculations, and dynamic pricing strategies.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP systems (CRM or SAP preferred).
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under tight timelines.
Preferred Attributes
Exposure to international trade and procurement processes.
Knowledge of customs duties, import documentation, and landed cost estimation.
Experience dealing with Korean or European suppliers will be an added advantage.
Reporting To: Head – Commercial / Director – Finance & Operations
Compensation: As per industry standards, with performance incentives

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
