Overview:
As a Solar Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and execution of solar energy projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of solar projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Design:
Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar energy installations.
Design solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, inverters, and mounting structures, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials for construction.\
Technical Support:
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with electrical engineers, structural engineers, and other professionals to optimize system design and performance.
Perform energy yield calculations and financial analysis to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness.
Project Management:
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
Implement quality control measures to ensure that solar installations meet performance standards and customer expectations.
Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for project teams and contractors.
