POSITION SUMMARY:

NG & NGL is seeking a Project Engineer to manage midstream crude oil and gas processing pipeline projects. The Project Engineer manages all aspects of assigned projects through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Aspects include, scope, cost, schedule, feasibility, concept engineering, detailed design, equipment selection and procurement, contractor selection, construction oversight, management of change, personnel and process safety, environmental oversight, and all other project tasks to successfully accomplish the project objectives. This position will report to the Engineering Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, environmental/health/safety impacts.
Develops, implements, and manages capital and expense projects for business unit while adhering to budgets and project management processes.
Facilitates project detailed design and technical reviews to ensure design meets corporate engineering standards.
Manages, controls, and communicates project performance to multi-discipline project teams consisting of internal stakeholders.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to commissioning and start-up.
Acts as a safety leader who upholds company core values and prioritizes personal and process safety. Prepares and leads engaging project safety meetings, drives safely, utilizes the MOC process, and supports the development and implementation of business partner energy isolation procedures. Supports department and company HES goals.
Troubleshoots operational issues and optimizes processes utilizing sound engineering practices.
Leads project safety reviews including HAZOPs, PHAs, PSSRs, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, or electrical engineering or other engineering degree from ABET accredited institution OR registered professional engineer (with relevant experience) required.
Six (6) years of related experience required.

Valid Driver's License Required.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
