This is a Project Engineer (LCS - System Evolution) role, reporting to the Project Lead Engineer in Business Area – Industrial Automation (INOPC IA) located in Bangalore. You will be primarily responsible to evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
Your responsibilities
• Driving continuous improvements, simplification and consolidation.
• Collaborating with business and other IT teams to deliver solutions within timeline.
• Identifying customer (internal or external requirements, analyzing and documenting as-is process and process interfaces, discover process gaps, design to-be integration in collaboration wi.th business resources.
• Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
• Assisting customers in technical issues and interacting with official contracts.
• Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.

Your background
• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communications, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of experience in installation, integration of servers and client computers in virtual environment, windows Administration.
• Experience in Virtualization concepts, ESXi Setup, Raid configuration and VMware Configuration.
• Working knowledge on Managed switches, Routers and Firewalls.
• Knowledge in designing System and Network Hardening and develop detailed Cyber security designs.
• Experience in configuring MacAfee epo, WSUS.
• Working knowledge on Domain configuration and Active directory configuration for larger systems includes defining group policies.
• Process Automation knowledge – Application programming(Oil & Gas/ Refineries /Petrochemicals and Power & Water).
• Knowledge on Third party Communication like MODBUS, OPC.
• Having ABB 800xA knowledge will be an added advantage. (System,800xA History, 800xA Information management).
