Job Responsibilities:
1. Design development of interiors (all stages)
• Enhance presentability of the drawings by using various software
• Providing inputs to the 3 D team for developing basic 3 D models
2. Drawing development of interiors (all stages)
• Develop detail drawings of interiors as per the inputs given by the Sr. Architect and
vendors
3. Material selection
• Select the materials as per the client requirement/liking and the project theme
• Coordinate with various material vendors for rates and material application
4. Vendor coordination
• Coordinate with various vendors (flooring material, ceiling material, lighting, glass,
laminates and veneer, signage, sanitary fixings, interior furniture, interior décor material
etc.) for material selection
5. Consultant coordination
• Coordination with structural and service consultant for design development and execution
6. Site coordination
• Coordination with project managers to explain the design and drawings
• To make revision in the design/ drawings as per site condition and client requirement
7. Preparing material boards for presentations
• Providing inputs on interior materials
• Preparing the boards for presentations
8. Lead and develop the team
• Identifies individual and team skill gaps and developmental opportunities (e.g., training,
special assignments, projects, etc.) to facilitate individual and team development.
• Resolve team performance issues in accordance with company’s policies and procedures in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork.
• Defines, advises and recommends use of emerging technologies
• Monitors the project lifecycle from intake through delivery
• Should be responsible for thought leadership in terms of looking beyond the technology
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Level of Education 12th/ graduation plus diploma/degree in Interior Design
Experience 12 to 14 years of experience with an interior design firm. Should have worked for hotel projects.
COMPETENCIES
Functional AutoCAD, Google Sketch up, Photoshop
Knowledge of materials
Knowledge of changing trends in the field of interior design
