We are a construction company based in Manukau, Auckland and are looking to hire a:

Construction Project Manager,

Senior Carpenter/Site Foreman, and

an Office Administrator

for our construction sites and office. An attractive remuneration and vehicle will be provided to the suitable candidate. Jobs starting early next year.

1. Vacancy: PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.

Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.

Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.

Oversee project budgets, timelines, and safety compliance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during project delivery

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience managing construction projects - MUST HAVE.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven track record in Project Management overseeing projects throughout the complete project life cycle

Strong knowledge of NZ Building Standards

Relevant qualifications in construction or project management.

2. Vacancy: SENIOR CARPENTER/SITE FOREMAN

Qualifications & experience

Be a level 4 qualified carpenter with LBP accreditation

A minimum of three years New Zealand experience including leading teams

Can pass a pre-employment drug and ******* screen as well as health screening requirements

Have a proactive approach to work- use initiative but will seek assistance where required

Have strong written and oral skills

Be highly organised with great attention to detail

Be able work autonomously, but also lead a busy team

Have a current driver’s licence.

Tasks & responsibilities

Lead a team and monitoring daily construction procedures

Delegate and support your team to ensure assigned work is completed to schedule

Ensure work is high quality and according to building code and design

Assist in the Mentoring of Junior Staff.

Manage documentation and checklists.

To lead by example in workmanship and quality of work.

Maintain a strong focus on Health and Safety and building code of compliance

Have a positive attitude on site, and represent Ace Builderz in a professional manner at all times.

Professionally handle calls and email inquiries.

3. Vacancy: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

As an Office Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in various areas, including:

Reception and Communication:

Respond to email correspondence promptly.

Greet and assist visitors courteously.

Office Maintenance and Operations:

Organize office cleaning, presentation, printing, laminating, binding.

Order office supplies.

Collaborate with the Operations Manager for streamlined processes.

Maintain an organized office space aligned with company standards.

Create and update registers, spreadsheets and databases.

Construction Project Support:

Assist Project Manager/Site Managers with obtaining site specific documents.

Maintain and update site documents and folders in drop-box.

Manage and update contracts works insurance.

Make appropriate bookings with consulting firms.

Land subdivision paperwork and applications.

Lodgement of CCC applications and gain final CCC from the Council.

Log/print, file and distribute drawings, specifications and plans.

Accounting and Financial Duties:

Perform basic accounting tasks, including invoicing and data entry.

Implement and maintain Xero and MYOB software.

Collect and analyse timesheets against data logs.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years in Office Management/Administration role, preferably in a construction company.

Experience in using Xero and MYOB.

Strong organizational, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team.
