Job Summary In the current market scenario, with opportunities in technology space and NBFC's focusing on IT advancement, SC Capital is working on project of End to End Digitization of Processes/ Journeys. The objective includes projects and initiatives such as digitisation of Lead Management, Loan Origination System, Datawarehouse etc for lending products. End to End Digital Operation model also includes Internal SCB Group, Regulatory and External Party Integrations. The candidate should be equipped to • Manage the role of Digital Project Manager who will co-ordinate, challenge, drive and lead the various project deliveries through waterfall or agile methodologies • Provides best practices of technologies available by studying company's goals, strategies, practices, and projects • Maintains company's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plan for implementing new technologies • Design focused origination and go-to-market strategy using multiple channels implemented through process driven approach • He/she should be willing to learn the business product, customer journey, with a digital acumen, who is proactive, responsible, assertive and is willing to go the extra mile to make things happen. Responsibilities • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. • Develop comprehensive project plans based on company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation. • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables. • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements. • Reviewing Drive Daily Scrum, FSDs, writing UAT test cases Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), User Verification Testing (UVT), Dress Rehearsal (DR) and Go-Live activities • Creating business value through the solution proposed and implemented • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective action • Co-ordinating with External Partners and /or in delivering best solutions for projects • Coordinate with Multi-functional Teams, Internal SCB Group teams for Delivering new or changes in processes of existing products • Manages Project Budgets to control project costs within the approved budget, deliver the expected project goals, proactively highlight cost escalations if any compared to approved budgets • Manage Project Group Meetings such as Monthly / Quarterly Project Reviews and updates project systems with project timelines plan, tasks, financial plans, update actual cost incurred, resource timesheets etc • Liaise between stakeholders - business, vendors, group teams, SC Capital teams, advisory and implementation partners to finalise scope of project, finalising requirements etc • Coordinate the QA, UAT, GO-Live and Mock cycles between vendors, user teams, QA teams, support teams across region Strategy Responsibilities that are related to the development and implementation of a strategy, for example, Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role. Business Responsibilities related to the delivery of business and / or financial objectives, for example, Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates Processes Reference the processes for which the Role Holder is responsible, as per the Operational Risk Framework definition of first / second line, for example, Responsible for executing and supervising the Budget process. People & Talent Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks. Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles. Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans. Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives. Risk Management • Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them. For example -The ability to interpret the Group's financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures Governance Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks (e.g. processes and policies) and oversight. For example, Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. Regulatory & Business Conduct • Display exemplary conduct and live by the . • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association Skills and Competencies • MCA, MBA, B.E. with 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience in the Project Management • Knowledge of and experience in leading or partnering with the main lead and the senior management team in rolling out Retail lending systems on an End to End basis • Understanding of NBFC and Financial Markets products and regulations particularly around CDD, KYC, etc About Standard Chartered We're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
