Exciting Opportunity – Project Manager at Star Group!

Join Star Group of Companies Australia as a Project Manager and deliver impactful electrical and infrastructure projects across Sydney’s Rail, Roads, and Water sectors.
This role combines hands-on project delivery with strong people leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The role reports to the Construction Manager and leads a team of Site Managers, tradespeople, and a project coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver major electrical infrastructure works across large-scale Rail, Roads, and Water projects.
Lead project delivery with a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Manage project budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and cost control to achieve financial targets.
Coordinate labour resources and support site teams with effective workforce planning.
Develop and manage project forecasts that are aligned with scope, budget, and timelines.
Ensure that project documentation is accurate, compliant, and up-to-date.
Provide regular reporting on progress, costs, risks, and key milestones
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Qualifications:
Proven experience in electrical project management or senior site management within infrastructure or construction environments
Electrical Licence or relevant electrical trade qualification (highly regarded)
Strong ability to read and interpret plans and effectively direct project teams
Solid construction industry knowledge across multiple trades
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities
