Overview

The Project Manager (Event Tech) plays a crucial role in planning, executing, and managing technology-related aspects of events, ensuring seamless integration of event tech solutions and delivering exceptional experiences for attendees.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the planning and execution of event technology requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event goals and deliver innovative tech solutions to enhance attendee experience.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution of event tech requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party suppliers to source and manage event tech equipment and services.
• Oversee on-site tech setup and troubleshooting during events to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans for potential tech-related issues at events.
• Evaluate and recommend new event tech solutions to improve efficiency and deliver enhanced experiences.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all event tech implementations.
• Provide post-event analysis and reports to assess tech performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate event tech solutions with overall event logistics and marketing strategies.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in the events or technology industry.
• Strong understanding of technical requirements.
• Excellent vendor management skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts and oversee service delivery.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic event environments and troubleshoot tech issues effectively.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or related field is advantageous.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations relevant to event tech implementations.
