My client, a European bank offers full-service in-branch for retail and business customers, priding itself on its community banking heritage. They are looking to hire a Project manager to ovesee theirTenemos Migration programme.
Role Description
This is a 6 month fixed-term contract initially (can be extended), full-time and on-site(Monday-Friday) role for a Tenemos Migration Project Manager at the bank's office in City of London.
The position is for a project manager/programme director role which will oversee the bank side project management function in a Temenos T24/Transact migration and modernisation project, including version upgrade, database change and module modernisation.
The person is expected to oversee the effort by the partner company and utilise internal resources for an efficient and seamless transition of the core banking platform using best practice experience. This will be a contracted on-site role in London.
Experience
Proven experience of 5/10+ years as a PMO Manager in multiple similar roles, specifically in Temenos T24/Transact version migration is crucial.
Experience in JBase to SQL, TAFC+ to TAFJ migration and desktop client versions required
Extensive experience in managing IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, preferably in smaller financial institutions as well.
Required skills
Excellent leadership, team management, organisational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with financial systems, software, and technologies.
In-depth understanding of IT project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience in managing projects related to software development, system implementations, or infrastructure upgrades.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications is highly desirable.
Familiar with the UK Financial Regulations.
Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
Knowledge of risk management practices specific to IT projects in the financial industry (Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
