Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) supports external clients throughout the project implementation and software development lifecycle. The PM must possess demonstrated experience leading and managing both direct and third-party teams of software and industry professionals. The PM interfaces with clients on a daily basis, following a defined project lifecycle from project initiation through project close out. The PM is responsible for managing client statements of work, facilitating requirements analysis and design, baselining project plans, keeping the client informed of project progress, tracking, and communicating financial status, ensuring timeline schedule, managing change, mitigating risk, and working with the client to facilitate on time, on budget project deliveries. The PM must be highly organized, detail oriented and an effective communicator at all levels of the organization and with our clients.
Position Key Responsibilities Include:
• Manage and implement customer projects.
• Plan, control and execute projects following the defined project lifecycle process.
• Lead day-to-day activities and communications for projects.
• Manage the project team, artifacts, tasks, dependencies, budget, timeline and team/client communication throughout the project.
• Document all applicable project lifecycle artifacts required for the project.
• Facilitate project resourcing. Engage appropriate resources, book resources according to plan, and ensure execution of planned deliverables.
• Monitor and control all aspects of the project. Identify project issues and risk and take appropriate corrective action as needed.
• Identify and manage baselined project scope, facilitating proactive change management as necessary.
• Keep PMO management apprised of project health and escalate any issues blocking the path to green.
• Ensure through project team collaboration that all project milestones and deliverables are examined and meet quality and acceptance requirements.
• Maintain project tracking system with accurate, timely and complete data.
• Facilitate project time tracking through timely resource task assignment and accurate, complete bookings. Monitor and manage project team time tracking and approvals on a weekly basis.
• Actively manage the client’s expectations and balance their needs with Hexure's business strategies.
• Provide support to management staff and other Project Managers by demonstrating leadership that is in unison with department initiatives, goals, and objectives.
• Take initiative to broaden and improve skills by participating in educational programs, seminars, and ongoing departmental and corporate training.
• Perform additional duties as directed by Management.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
• Project deliverables are managed to plan - on schedule, on budget, and delivered to client’s satisfaction.
• Project financials are at or under budget to client approved assessments.
• Project timeline is delivered on time or early according to plan.
• Resources are managed effectively through timely, accurate bookings and facilitation of coordinated work product delivery.
• Changes to project scope are impact-assessed, communicated, and managed with client for change approval.
• Productivity, utilization, and margin metrics, as established and communicated by the company, are tracked and met within threshold guidelines.
• Resourcing, task management, bookings, time recording, budget, timelines, dependencies and other required project details are maintained accurately within the project management system.
• Established KPIs are met and in alignment with Project Management requirements.
Professional Qualifications – Skills and Abilities Required:
• Highly-effective verbal and written communication skills, including a high level of proficiency with English. Good presentation skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodology, tools, techniques, and practices.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to differing development methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects across multiple clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among all project participants.
• Financial experience with budget management and invoicing coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly productive and rapidly changing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be a strong leader and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship management and customer service skills.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience Required:
· 3-5 years’ experience in project/program management.
· Strong knowledge of MS Office Products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Visio.
· Experience with NetSuite/OpenAir is a plus.
· Financial services industry experience is a plus.
· Project Management Certification a plus (PMP, CSM, CAPM, SAFe, etc.).
· Six Sigma or Lean process improvement experience a plus.
Expected hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with regular office hours from Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support deployments and other work demands .
