We are a structural steel erection and installation company looking for an experienced Project Manager/Foreman for our business based in Brooklyn, with several sites operational across the city.
The Project Manager/Foreman is primarily responsible for the daily management, coordination, and successful completion of construction projects to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contract administration, budgetary considerations, and scheduling. The Project Manager/Foreman is responsible to the company for assigned projects' profitability and client satisfaction.
Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision.
Oversee the beginning of each turn-key project including details like permit submission and design evaluations.
Create the schedule for each project and ensure you are on site to oversee the crew.
Process change orders.
Collaborate with the architect. engineer and construction crew to ensure the feasibility of each project is completed in a timely matter.
Overseeing each project from onset to completion
Conduct on-site meetings with the architect, engineer, client, and construction crew
Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Prepare and submit project estimates to the client.
Requirements
Must have experience in the steel industry, including steel project management.
Ability to read and analyze blueprints, maps, structural drawings, charts, and plan sets.
Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
Extensive experience managing budgets for large construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction/steel materials, processes, and equipment
Must have foreman experience.
Site Safety Training (SST) 62hr.
A Bachelor’s Degree is a huge plus.
MUST currently live in the NY Tri-State area. The position is in Brooklyn, NY. NO relocation or Visa sponsorship will be provided.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
