Transmission Lines

CPP delivers high-voltage transmission line solutions up to 500kV, with a focus on substation connections.

We offer world-leading, internationally supported live-line capabilities – upgrading existing lines without outages, a service unmatched in Australia. Our in-house engineering team provides full transmission line design services, covering civil, structural, foundation, and electrical line design.

With expertise in overhead line stringing and conductor replacement, our transmission line capability is a key part of CPP’s end-to-end, one-stop solution for clients.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in managing challenging projects. Calling upon your transmission lines experience, you will be an integral part of our transmission lines business unit. You will play an important role in delivering CPP’s projects nationally, building new transmission lines and tackling complicated projects on the existing infrastructure.

Joining one of the most reputable companies in our industry, you will provide overall project management and technical leadership for your project. As a natural leader, you will work closely with engineering and construction teams, while personally managing the client relationship and project contractual deliverables. Although office based, you will spend an average of 20% of your time in the field to ensure successful project outcomes around safety, quality, time and cost.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous overhead transmission lines experience
Minimum 3 years experience in project management
Strong communication, initiative and problem solving skills
Site based project experience and a proven ability to collaborate with field crews
Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and applicable industry experience such as a lineworker background
