Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of construction management software and industry standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse projects, coordinate teams, and ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and project alignment.
Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare cost proposals and track project expenses.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions proactively.
Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals using tools like ProCore and Bluebeam.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead project meetings, report on progress, and provide updates to stakeholders regularly.
Oversee resource allocation, labor management, and procurement activities to optimize productivity.
Apply civil 3D for site planning and layout when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction management or related field with a strong understanding of construction processes.
Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Civil 3D.
Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
Familiarity with project management principles including time management and scheduling techniques.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Relevant certifications or degrees in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are preferred but not mandatory. This position is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of complex construction projects through expert planning, coordination, and leadership.
Pay: $120,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
