Project Manager|US Mortgage

Shift- US Shift (Night shift)

5 days/week
• A PMP/Prince2/green belt certification is mandatory for this role
• A project manager for US Mortgage is required but someone with experience in BFSI domain will also work, anyone from IT background/ technical project manager kindly DO NOT APPLY

Principle Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage projects focused on automating mortgage underwriting processes, including system enhancements, integration of automation tools, and workflow optimization.

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriters, IT professionals, and external vendors, to design and implement automation solutions that optimize efficiency and accuracy.

· Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines. Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes and ensure project success.

· Identify automation opportunities within the mortgage underwriting workflow, analyzing current processes and recommending improvements through technology and automation.

· Stay informed about emerging automation technologies, tools, and best practices in the mortgage industry, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

· Regularly report project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.

· Oversee change management efforts, ensuring successful adoption of new automation processes by providing training and support to end-users.

· Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.

· Provide training and support to underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of automated tools.

· Create and present regular project updates, reports, and key performance indicators to senior management.

· Work in US shift timings Ability to multi-task and handle pressure intensive deliverables

Education Qualifications and Experience

· Preferred Qualification: PMP certified Prince2 certified Six Sigma Green Belt

· 6-8 years’ experience in US Mortgage industry (preferably Mortgage Origination) with at least 2 years- in a managerial role

· Managed at least 2-3 multi-tower projects in either of Mortgage Domain within last 18 months

· Should have multitasking ability to manage sub-process requirements

· Excellent documentation

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, IT professionals, and senior management

· Must be detailed oriented, organized, and work efficiently under pressure.

· Excellent MS office skills- MS Word, Excel PowerPoint Presentations, Word- Business requirements, reporting, PowerPoint, Visio, Project Management- Asana, SharePoint, Forms etc
