Details: Infrastructure Canberra is seeking applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates for an ongoing Project Officer position. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join our team. This position plays a pivotal part in supporting the Health Delivery Branch. As a Project Officer, you will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to high‑profile and meaningful work that supports the ongoing delivery of both new and upgraded Health Buildings for the ACT community and government.
We would like to hear from people who are interested in developing skills to deliver Health Infrastructure buildings, Contract and Project Management. The position will be responsible for:
working with other teams throughout iCBR to develop and maintain effective financial reporting processes;
Provide high level secretariat and coordination services to governance committees and working groups, coordinating meetings, agendas and papers;
coordinating updates to program/branch risks and project indicators;
understanding and communicating governance requirements to teams;
drafting, updating and maintaining frameworks and guidelines for project governance within the branch;
working with project teams to coordinate a range of project reporting requirements;
maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders across government, industry, and community organisations;
collaborating, consulting and engaging with key stakeholders as required for particular projects;
being flexible and agile to respond to the changing needs of projects, including supporting the Project Director, Project Managers and Executive as required to meet the needs of the projects;
working with project teams to prepare project deliverables and contract schedules;
drafting and coordinating reports, briefs and correspondence on complex and unique issues, including Cabinet and ministerial business if required; and
undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the directorate.
