Employment type – Temporary Full-Time, 35 hours per week up to two years
Grade – Clerk Grade 7/8
Salary – $113,574 pa - $125,720 pa plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

Become a Project Officer – infoShare with the FACSIAR team at the Department of Communities and Justice. You’ll coordinate projects and provide hands-on support to ensure smooth operations, strong governance, and accurate reporting for the infoShare platform. This role offers the chance to make a real impact by enabling data-driven decisions across DCJ programs, while developing your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. What you’ll do
As Project Officer – infoShare, you will coordinate and support activities that ensure the platform operates smoothly and effectively, including:

Managing shared mailboxes, communication channels and records to support day‑to‑day operations
Preparing high‑quality briefing notes, correspondence and action registers for stakeholders
Coordinating meetings, schedules and deliverables, and tracking progress against commitments
Supporting stakeholder engagement and monitoring risks, issues and dependencies
Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative and coordination processes

You will join a fast‑paced, collaborative FACSIAR team, delivering data‑driven insights that support programs, policy and service delivery across DCJ.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a highly organised Project Officer – infoShare to provide essential administrative and coordination support. You’ll keep operations running smoothly, support stakeholders, and contribute to data-informed decision-making across DCJ programs.

Key skills and experience:
Demonstrated experience delivering high‑quality project coordination and business support within a complex or fast‑paced environment, including managing shared mailboxes, records, correspondence and competing priorities with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to prepare clear, accurate and well‑structured briefing notes, correspondence, reports and action registers for senior stakeholders, with a strong understanding of governance, approval processes and information management requirements.
Strong organisational and planning capability, with the ability to coordinate meetings, schedules and deliverables, proactively monitor progress, and manage risks, issues and dependencies to support successful outcomes.
Well‑developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships, support collaboration across teams, and contribute to clear and timely information flow.
Experience supporting governance, reporting and assurance activities, including tracking actions, risks and issues, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, exercising sound judgement, initiative and accountability while providing reliable operational support that complements technical and analytical functions.

Experience working in government or a large, complex organisation is desirable.
