Make a difference to biodiversity management in NSW by joining us as a Project Officer supporting the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme.
Full-time temporary role for up to 2 years
Office Location – flexible within NSW
Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $101,850 to $112,530 + super
Our Biodiversity Offsets Branch is seeking to appoint a Project Officer (EO07) in the Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) team. This is an exciting time to join the team, as we implement the NSW government’s recommendations after reviewing the BAM. We are a supportive, collaborative and dedicated team with flexible working arrangements. We develop and implement biodiversity programs that support the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have;
Knowledge of the role and function of Government with respect to biodiversity offsetting, conservation policy and legislation.
An ability to understand and work with technical and scientific information in the context of biodiversity management programs.
Good communication skills and be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
An understanding of the BAM is desirable.
