About the team
The Transport Delivery team is responsible for the project management of all transport capital works projects including road upgrades, active transport, public transport and transport infrastructure renewals. Our team fosters an energetic, dynamic culture and works to manage projects with varying complexity, providing opportunities to grow and diversify your skill set.
About your new role
This position is focused on providing support and assistance to the team throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide comprehensive project support to the Principal Program Delivery Manager and Project Managers within the Traffic Systems Infrastructure portfolio.
Support Project Managers in the establishment, maintenance and finalisation of governance and artefacts associated with the Project Management Framework (currently P3M).
Support the Principal Program Delivery Manager and Project Managers with project and program related financial reporting (accruals, journals and SAP project reports) as required, and project work orders and purchase orders for all project related financial invoicing/payments.
Assist Project Managers with the preparation of their asset management handover documentation and associated processes in a timely manner.
Assist Project Managers with the preparation of their project reports including procurement documentation.
Assist with project meetings, including taking and issuing minutes and following up on action items arising from the meetings as requested by the Principal Program Delivery Manager.
Fulfil project records management requirements to ensure all project documentation is managed in accordance with the organisations records management requirements.
We're looking for people who have:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent Knowledge (Mandatory).
Diploma of Project Management or Equivalent Knowledge (Mandatory).
General construction induction white card (Mandatory).
Drivers licence – unrestricted (Mandatory).
Experience in document control, procurement and contract administration of municipal infrastructure construction and service projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
A keen eye for detail and proactive in understanding the key objectives of the business to find better ways to support the team.
Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
The ability to build strong working relationships and provide advice for administrative best practice.
