The Commercial and Procurement Branch is the government’s lead advisor on commercial strategies, specialist procurement, and strategic contracting. In partnership with Departments, the Branch leads the assessment and management of commercial projects, uplifts capability across government, implements and manages modern systems, oversees and supports major projects, and leads strategic procurement.
The Opportunities
We are seeking experienced project officer professionals to join the Policy, Engagement and Projects team to implement and shape whole of government reforms. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact procurement reforms, stakeholder engagement, and capability uplift across government. You'll be leveraging your ability to build and nurture successful partnerships, engage and negotiate complex and sensitive issues, and foster cooperation and support to achieve desired outcomes. These roles sit within Procurement SA in the newly established Commercial and Procurement Branch.
We have both ongoing and long-term opportunities available across the ASO6, ASO7 and ASO8 roles. This recruitment process may be used to fill other vacancies at the same classification level.
