This role will support and deliver climate action related projects (carbon reduction and climate adaptation) for the Climate Action Integration team.
What you’ll be doing:
Undertake a range of project related tasks to support the Climate Action Integration team to develop and deliver projects (both carbon reduction and climate adaptation projects).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support their awareness, participation and delivery of climate considerations and relevant actions.
Develop and maintain web-based content for the Climate Action Integration team and in collaboration with Strategic Communications and Advocacy Department.
Prepare communications materials for a range of media in line with Council’s Communications Guidelines.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within Council and the wider community to promote climate action programs and activities including representing Council at community events.
Provide timely, clear, and accurate information on activities and programs undertaken within the team.
Provide assistance in promoting/marketing of activities and programs internally and externally.
