The Opportunity
As the Parks Project Support Officer at the City of Perth, you will be assisting with projects and programs within the Parks and Environment team, covering all stages from planning to monitoring, research, and investigation. You will also provide administrative support to the unit.
Reporting to the Coordinator Parks and Environment, your responsibilities would primarily include:
Provide admin and project support across the unit;
Assist project leads to monitor, track, and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, costs, and outputs are in line with approved constraints;
Assist in all project management documentation including project briefs, feasibility reports, project plans, project close out reports, benefit review reports, project status reports, risks and issues registers, budget management and change control reports.; and
Undertake research and minor project work to support work teams and steering groups.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Experience in providing project support;
Excellent written communication skills, research and analytical skills;
Ability to interpret and apply legislation, local laws and policies; and
Proven ability to effectively plan, organise and manage own time and workload.

Eligibility
To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:
A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa);
Fitness for work via a pre-employment medical (if required for the role);
A current ‘C’ class Australian drivers licence (if required for the role); and
A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
