Roles & Responsibilities
The technician role is to assist project engineers in wiring and installations of ELV units like FAS, CCTV, PAS, Access control and other related equipments which falls under the Low Voltage Scheme candidate will also carry out maintenance and be involved in the upgrade of Security equipment including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and any. The have to travel to client place to carry out installations and repairs as necessary as directed by team lead.
Responsible for the security systems installation, maintenance and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards; at client site and ensure they meet the overall client expectations.
Conduct testing on the installed security systems to ensure that they are functioning as per the requirements and specification of the clients.
Perform regular maintenance checks on the security systems to prevent any possible malfunctioning.
Respond to client maintenance requests and repair/replace equipment as and when needed in order to keep systems in working order.
Coordinate with clients and System Engineer to detect and repair security systems as and when required.
Prepare periodic reports on the completed security system installations, commissioning and maintenance activities
Assist with general site preparation;
Ensure that all conduit and wire run and installations meet expected quality standards
Any other duties as may be required from time to time.
Skills & Requirements
Knowledge of security systems and technologies (CCTV, Access Control, Security Alarms etc..) Understanding of the security system
Laying Cable, installing hardware
Install maintain, and assist the Lead Engineer with installations;
Analytical Skills Computer literacy: MS windows applications (word processing, excel, spreadsheets…) Should speak Kannada/English/Hindi
Strong team player
Passionate about service excellence; Strong customer orientation Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner even when under pressure;
