Job Description:
We’re seeking a Senior Creative Writer with a proven track record in crafting compelling promotional content for TV, OTT, and digital platforms. This is a leadership role that involves both hands-on promo writing and mentoring junior writers, while contributing to the overall creative direction of marketing campaigns, trailers, and branded content.
You’ll collaborate closely with producers, editors, marketing leads, and creative heads to conceptualize visually striking and emotionally resonant scripts that drive engagement and align with brand tone.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write, conceptualize, and oversee scripts for TV promos, digital trailers, launch campaigns, branded videos, and other AV assets
• Lead ideation sessions and contribute to the creative strategy of content across platforms (TV, YouTube, OTT, Instagram, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal teams (creative, marketing, video production) and external vendors (editors, VO artists)
• Guide and mentor junior writers and ensure consistent messaging and tone
• Interpret briefs and turn them into engaging, performance-driven scripts
• Manage tight turnarounds and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Stay ahead of entertainment trends, consumer behavior, and platform-specific content styles
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in promo writing / scriptwriting / creative copy for AV content
• Deep understanding of media/entertainment/OTT audience dynamics
• Strong portfolio of high-impact AV scripts/promos/trailers
• Experience leading projects from ideation to final delivery
• Command over writing short, punchy, visual-driven narratives
• Excellent storytelling instincts and adaptability across genres (drama, comedy, reality, action)
• Knowledge of production timelines, VO, basic editing, and post processes
• Fluency in English (multi-language writing skills are a plus)
