About the Role:
ReelSaga is looking for a sharp and imaginative Promo Writer who can craft high-performing, attention-grabbing ad scripts based on our original vertical dramas. You’ll be responsible for writing promotional creatives that act as the first hook—turning scrolls into views and views into downloads.
This role is ideal for someone who knows how to write with urgency, intrigue, and emotion—from snappy hooks and dramatic cliffhangers to short copy that drives action. Prior experience in writing promo scripts or digital ads is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Write sharp, high-converting promo ad scripts for our shows
• Create compelling hooks, cliffhangers, and taglines that stop the scroll
• Work closely with writers and editors to extract key moments from episodes and turn them into engaging ads
• Study competitors and audience behavior to write data-informed copy
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to match campaign goals with creative tone
• Contribute to A/B testing copy and headlines to optimize ad performance
Qualifications:
• Exceptional writing skills, especially in short-form and ad copy
• Ability to write for digital platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube Shorts Strong sense of story structure and audience psychology
• Prior experience of 2 - 4 years in writing promos, trailers, or short ads is highly preferred
• Familiarity with emotional and drama-driven content for Indian Gen Z & millennial audiences
• Self-starter with the ability to work at a fast pace and iterate quickly
